June Construction Update: Saffron

After a minor setback last month, the weather is cooperating and our crews are busy at work on the Saffron development. Both buildings are currently in the final stretch of the second phase in construction (see the Genesis 5 stages of development). Here’s a breakdown of where we’re at in the development process:

Units 8326 to 8346
Saddlelake Drive NE

• Our crews are currently in the process of prepping the basements for this block, which means we’re in phase two of the Genesis 5 stages of development.
• After the basements are completed for this block, pre-board inspections will take place before our construction crews move onto the next phase in development.

Units 8350 to 8370
Saddlelake Drive NE

• We’re all finished the HVAC rough-ins for this building, which refers to ‘Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning’. Our crews are now 65% completed the electrical rough-ins for these units, as well as the basement slab preparation.
• Upon completion of the rough-ins and basements for this building, the next phase will be pre-board inspections. To find out what phase we’re in, check out the Genesis 5 stages of development.
