May Construction Update: Saffron

First off, we’d like to report a delay in construction for the Saffron development due to circumstances that are beyond our control.

Genesis has had unforeseen issues while working with Enmax and Shaw on the Saffrons. Administrative oversights on their ends has resulted in us being bumped to the back of their to-do lists and is the primary cause of the aforementioned delay. This, consequently has pushed our construction target to July 2014.

We do not take circumstances like these lightly, and once again would like to extend our sincerest apologies for any inconveniences this delay will have caused.

Units 8326 to 8346
Saddlelake Drive NE

• ŸŸŸŸŸŸŸŸOur crews are 65% completed the electrical rough-ins for this building, and up next in the development will be the low voltage/pre-board inspection for these units.

Units 8350 to 8370
Saddlelake Drive NE

• This building is 60% completed the rough-ins for the HVAC system. HVAC  refers to ‘Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning’.
• Once the HVAC rough-ins are installed, our crews will be getting right to work on the electrical rough-ins for this building. To give you an idea of where we’re at in the construction phase for this building, check out the Genesis five stages of development.
