April Construction Update: Saffron

The multi-family buildings at the Saffron development are well into the biggest phase of development, and with our construction crews hard at work, we’ll be entering the final two phases of the project before you know it.

Units 8326 to 8346
Saddlelake Drive NE

• At this phase in the development, crews have completed 60% of the rough-ins for the plumbing and heating of these units. To give you an idea of where we’re at, home construction typically happens in five phases, and we’re in phase three currently (learn more here).
• Following the completion of the plumbing and heating rough-ins, our crews will be getting to work on the electrical rough-ins for this building.

Units 8350 to 8370
Saddlelake Drive NE

• This building is currently 50% through the roofply phase of development. Roofply is simply the framing which is installed before the roof can be completed. We’re also 50% through the back framing of this building. Back framing refers to pieces of lumber placed between studs to help anchor things like windows, etc.
• Once our crews are completed the last half of the roofply and back framing, they’ll be getting to work on the plumbing rough-ins for these units.
