Check out AirdrieFEST this weekend
A great opportunity for Airdrie residents to see everything that Airdrie has to offer is happening this weekend at AirdrieFEST. This event allows community groups and non-profits to showcase their services and products, as well as offering free family-friendly entertainment and fun.
September is the perfect time to check out what programs and events are coming up for community groups, so AirdrieFEST is a great event to get a little taste of everything in one place. AirdrieFEST is happening this Saturday, with over 40 community groups in attendance, and even more local business vendors. The details:
When: Saturday, September 12, 11 am to 4 pm
Where: Airdrie City Hall (400 Main Street South)
In addition to the community groups and non-profits that will be taking part in this event, there will be an entertainment stage setup all day (SLAM on Stage). Hear some great Airdrie musicians and songwriters and see some amazing performances by entertainers.
The entertainment schedule:
- 11 – 11:30 am: Jennifer Perez
- 11:30 – 11:50 am: Airdrie Sky High Twirlers
- 11:50 am – 12:40 pm: Christian Hudson
- 12:40 – 1 pm: Braden Pole (magician)
- 1 – 1:20 pm: Master Rim Taekwondo
- 1:20 – 2:10 pm: Sharp Hill
- 2:20 – 3:10 pm: The Joko Band
- 3:10 – 3:30 pm: Kim Cheel (interactive theatre)
- 3:30 – 4 pm: Jazzercise
