Honouring ARTember in Airdrie

Genesis Land had the honour of being a part of ARTember this year, a month-long initiative in Airdrie, honouring local arts and artists. As part of the program, artwork by four talented local artists are now featured in three of our showhomes at Canal’s Landing.

Those four local artists are:

Nina Hurst
Originally from Edmonton, Nina’s mantra for her artwork says it all: ”Art is a thing of beauty. No matter the subject, or the medium used, the expression of one’s inner self is to be appreciated.” Visit Nina’s website

Char Vanderhorst
Char likes to paint images which portray different cultures and nations, and likes to depict some history in each piece as well. Visit Char’s website

Candace Holden
Since Candace resides in the foothills, she likes to paint the landscapes, scenery and beautiful outdoors she’s accustomed to. Visit Candace’s website

Veronica Funk
Veronica is a local artist who paints a variety of subjects including many inspired by wildlife. She also started an initiative ’52 weeks’, where she paints a new piece each week. Visit Veronica’s website
