The Calgary Renovation Show is happening this weekend
Renovating your home can be a gruelling process. Whether it’s your New Year’s resolution to get started on those renovation plans or you’re simply looking for some tips and tricks on where to start, The Calgary Renovation Show will be sure to ignite some ideas and make the renovation process a little less daunting. The show is taking over the BMO Centre this weekend from January 11 – 13, featuring special guests, expert advice, top trends of 2019, a chance to win spectacular prizes and so much more.
Each year, the main stage lineup of special guest speakers is always a crowd pleaser. With one of HGTV’s biggest stars and many industry experts taking the stage, you will gain insight into their wealth of knowledge and experience. This year’s lineup includes, but is not limited to:
- Bryan Baeumler of HGTV, presenting on the ‘Do’s and Don’ts with Bryan.’
Breanna Lukacsy, a Mount Royal University Interior Design graduate and owner of Hella Design Studio. Breanna and Rehanna, her co-owner of Hella Design Studio, will be presenting on ‘Great Design: Elevating Your Reno.’
Shae Doyle, Program Manager of Energy Efficiency Alberta, will be presenting on ‘Energy Efficiency Alberta: Home Energy Plan.’
Jennifer Crack from the City of Calgary will be presenting on the ‘Legalities and Permits for Home Renovations in Calgary.’
A full list of special guest speakers can be found on the renovation show’s main stage schedule, along with presentation times and further information.
Not only does the show include a spectacular lineup of special guest speakers, but it also hosts 200 exhibitors ready to answer your questions and guide your renovation needs through their numerous products and services. Many local Calgary businesses are among the exhibitors attending and will be ready to assist on your next home project, big or small. Looking for new windows, flooring, cabinets or blinds? Needing to hire a roofer, drywaller or painter? Or maybe you need a contractor to take care of all the details? The Calgary Renovation Show has you covered!
When you feel like taking a break from the hustle and bustle of renovation talk, grab something to eat from the Big T’S barbeque zone. Although it’s only January, we know those treacherousAlberta snowfalls are coming our way, but before you know it, patio season will be upon us. Chowing down on some delicious barbeque will no doubt have you planning patio renovations in time for summer so that you can host the first neighbourhood backyard barbeque of 2019.
So, whether you’re looking to build your dream home, update your existing structure, modernize your kitchen cabinets, replace your weathered roof, find the latest design trends or hear first-hand from experienced individuals and businesses, the Calgary Renovation Show will provide you with all the resources you need. Come with your wild ideas and your chequebook – we promise you won’t be disappointed!
