What is Doors Open YYC?
This Saturday, another edition of Doors Open YYC kicks off in our city, and if you’re not familiar with this event, it’s your chance to experience Calgary from a completely new perspective.
On September 23, 2017 many of Calgary’s most intriguing and beloved sites participate in Doors Open YYC. During this day, buildings in all quadrants of the city open their doors – free of charge – to the public and providing special revealing tours and behind-the-scenes experiences. Whether you’re a geek for history, architecture, the environment, art, sports, science or engineering, this is your chance at an insider’s view of Calgary’s vibrant and dynamic cityscape. For one day only, experience behind-the-scenes of some of the most historic and compelling locations in Calgary. On Saturday, September 23, you’ll get free access to 40 sites around the city with insider views from 10am to 4pm. Including tours, exclusive experiences and much more, there’s something for the whole family.
