What to look for at AirdrieFEST this weekend
A great opportunity for Airdrie residents to see everything that Airdrie has to offer is happening this weekend at AirdrieFEST. This event allows community groups and non-profits to showcase their services and products, as well as offering free family-friendly entertainment and fun.
September is the perfect time to check out what programs and events are coming up for community groups, so AirdrieFEST is a great event to get a little taste of everything in one place. AirdrieFEST is happening this Saturday, with over 40 community groups in attendance, and even more local business vendors. The details:
When: Saturday, September 9, 11 am to 4 pm
Where: Airdrie City Hall (400 Main Street South)
Please be aware the road closure: Main Street will be closed from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm from Scotiabank (304 Main Street S) to the Urgent Care Centre. There will be full access to Urgent Care from the south side of Main Street. If you need to access Urgent Care from the north side of Main Street, security will be available at the barricades on the west lane by Scotiabank and they will escort you to Urgent Care.
In addition to the community groups and non-profits that will be taking part in this event, there will be an entertainment stage setup all day. Hear some great Airdrie musicians and songwriters and see some amazing performances by entertainers.
